Statement

I position myself to learn and embrace more of art. More technique, more styles and more mediums. I hope to always remain teachable whilst still refining my individual skill and style. To this day my art is various, though i love bold symbolic images.

The simplest visual idea can hold so much meaning and personal significance to an audience member. To accomplish and bring joy is my artistic ambition. Even simple design of everyday life, illustration and  design. Both strong influences i find myself drawn to.

i see my art to be an avenue to express my imagination and ideals. In this way I believe art should be meaningful and practical, functional and useful.

Primarily I work in drawing and painting, though i love to work along the lines of a brief. this is why i appreciate the clarity of bold symbolism.

Natural and creatures of myth and legend have always been interesting to represent in work. lions, dragons and snakes, all these hold character and symbolise certain themes. i enjoy to employ these themes through the character of these images. i 

i will try to communicate a story if body symbolism or imagery won't get the full message across. i admire this method of story telling and am drawn towards those style of works.

i let my art me lead me and trust where it takes me, as longs others with as much or more enjoyment as making it did for me. the art i make is to be see everyday and not hidden.

To create, to share, to learn, and teach, not to do it all but more so to be involved in it all the time. This my artistic ambition, my goal for a life of art
